Masks and dry winter skin

For many of us wearing masks has already been tough on our skin and now we're into the dry winter months ... and our skin is crying out for care.

The most common complaints are dry skin and clogged pores. It's harder to remember to drink a lot of water in the winter months but it's essential for keeping your skin hydrated. As for those clogged pores, the only way to keep them at bay is to exfoliate and clean the skin regularly. Masks are a great way of deep cleaning your skin. And I have to tell you the Hydradermie Facial is a wonderful way of rehydrating your skin, deep cleaning the pores and restarting your winter skin care regime.

I have clients who have hesitated to book a facial because they didn't know exactly what kind of service they wanted. I offer a complementary skin consultation to help you understand what a facial will do for you. We'll discuss your concerns about your skin and you'll learn about the different treatments and options so we can design a care regimen to meet your particular needs. If you're concerned about going out in these times we can consult by phone or video call.

Consultations are also a great way of reviewing your home and skin care regimens. And we can use the terrific Rodan and Fields Solution tool you'll find on my website (link). You identify your skin type and issues and the tool guides you to regimens that may be of interest to you. Rodan+Fields will send me an email with more specific recommendations that we can review together.

We may have a tough winter ahead but with the right skin care we'll emerge from all this looking radiant and healthy.
